Job description

Thanks to its internationally recognized expertise in the field of oil and gas production unit operations, maintenance and also Renewable Energy market, SPIE Global Services Energy was selected to provide this activity on ENI ORF PROJECT in Ghana.


In order to participate to our growth of Sub-Saharan Africa Business Unit, we are
looking for DCS SPECIALIST H/F .


This position is located ONSHORE in Gas Receiving Facility in ROTATIONAL
MODE 4x4, NIGHT SHIFT.

We are primarily looking for a candidate who demonstrates the following skills:

GENERAL:

  • 15 years relevant experience in the configuration and maintenance of DCS systems and smart instrumentations.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and analysis of system alarms and equivalent failures.
  • Basic knowledge in scientific principle, different measure principle, engineering fundamentals and computer technology.

 

SPECIFIC:

  • Performing "maintenance and troubleshooting" on Honeywell Control Systems (C300, Safety Manager Controllers and I/O Modules for Honeywell Experion PKS R500) faults and problems.
  • Modifying DCS/ESD/FGS logic and sequence, and HMI pages on Honeywell Experion PKS R500 according to changes in Documents.
  • Using Honeywell Experion PKS operating, configuration, and troubleshooting displays to identify and rectify network faults in FTE, Server, Station, and Security connections.
  • Tracing Ladder Logic via RSLogix 5000, Simatic Manager and TIA Portal and Structured Text (ST) Logic via AADvance Workbench to find the cause of process interruption and to assist performing Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) on package’s equipment.
  • Tracing Safety requirements on HIPPS System via Emerson DeltaV
  • Replacing Redundant Controller on Allen-Bradley product (L71) and Ethernet Module (EN2TR), upgrading the firmware via ControlFlash, and synchronizing with primary Controller via RSLinx during live process package, and making Backup.
  • Replacing and configuring the Flex I/O EtherNet/IP Adapter Module via BootP-DHCP and RSLinx and I/O Card via RSLinx, and upgrade firmware via ControlFlash on Allen-Bradley product.

Profile

We are primarily looking for a candidate who demonstrates the following skills / Profile :
