Key Responsibilities:
Manages day to day activities within his specific discipline

To lead and manage the following tasks:
Process and technology performance monitoring of Residue Fluidised Catalyst Cracking (RFCC), LPG Treating Unit (LTU) and Propylene Recovery Unit (PRU).
Through detailed analyses of operational data; optimization improvement, as well as operational support and technical advice are to be demonstrated for the safe, reliable and optimum operation throughout the plant lifecycle.
To support smooth operation of RFCC, LTU and PRU units and ensure its intended production capacity and product quality for downstream units whilst meeting all regulatory requirements.
 
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES-

1) TECHNICAL STUDIES
Strategies and lead technical studies for plant modifications by evaluating technical and commercial feasibility options to achieve improvements in areas of plant energy efficiency, operational flexibility, or compliance to HSE requirements. 
This may include the selection of new technology applications available in industry.
 
2) PROCESS MONITORING, ANALYSIS &amp; TROUBLESHOOTING
Lead the daily process monitoring of key operating parameters, catalyst performance and products’ quality to ensure adherence to safe operating limits. Identify unit/process potential problems through the analysis of key operating parameters, and troubleshooting anomalies. 
Recommend proactive measures to Operations by improving operating procedures/parameters/guidelines to avoid potential problems from escalating and sustaining safe, reliable and optimum plant operation. Effective communication and good rapport with the Process Licensor and catalyst supplier will also be required.
 
3) PROCESS IMPROVEMENT &amp; OPTIMISATION
Strategise and plan plant and facility improvement and optimisation studies of RFCC/LTU/PRU by identifying potential benefits using applicable simulation tools, performing plant/facility trial runs, identifying plant/unit performance limitations, reviewing lesson learnt and adopt best practices as well as investigating and establishing improved operating guidelines to ensure optimum plant performance, maximize value creation and minimize operating cost. 
Perform technical evaluation for new feedstocks and provide appropriate operating guidelines to Operations for a smooth transition to the new feedstock and subsequent operations. 
Effective communication and rapport with the Process Licensor will also be required.
 
4) COMMISSIONING &amp; START-UP
Lead and plan the commissioning and start-up activities of improvement or modification projects and chemical and media loading through effective collaboration and coordination with the Licensor, Engineering team, Operation team and Contractors, as well as ensuring construction is as per design and compliance to project specifications and standards to achieve flawless commissioning, start-up and performance testing of the facility with quality and standard while complying with the statutory regulation and business objectives in a safe and effective&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field with minimum 12 years’ experience in oil and gas Industry, preferably in Refining.
Possess strong knowledge in technical, process technology/operation.
Possess strong project management and contractor management skills.
Possess strong drive, resilience and is a self-starter with strong relationship building and networking ability.

A CSU (Commissioning, Startup, and) Engineer for an Air Separation Unit (ASU) is a specialized process engineer. They are responsible for transitioning a newly constructed cryogenic plant from its mechanical completion into full, reliable, and safe commercial operations.

Key ResponsibilitiesPre-Commissioning &amp; Commissioning: Inspect and test plant equipment (compressors, expanders, cold boxes, molecular sieves, and distillation columns) to ensure they meet engineering designs and safety standards.
Plant Startup: Execute plant purges, pre-cooling, liquefaction, and cryogenic distillation to reach specified product purities (e.g., 99.5% oxygen, nitrogen, and argon).Performance Testing: Conduct operational and turndown tests to ensure the unit achieves designed output, efficiency, and energy consumption guarantees.

Turnaround scope and plans
Develop and define the Turnaround scope, including contract requirements, in line with agreed milestones, and ensure preparation of work packs, personnel mobilization plans, and execution strategies for shutdown and Turnaround windows.
• Act as focal point for technical inputs related to tendering, technical evaluations, and contract presentations within the assigned area.
• Establish, maintain, and report the master planning schedule across all phases of the Turnaround, including progress monitoring, reporting, and implementation of corrective actions, while controlling scope changes through a structured process.
• Initiate and manage all required work orders and activities in SAP systems with realistic duration estimates, ensuring timely availability of resources, materials, and spare&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline  (Instrumentation/Electrical/Electronics). 5–10 years of direct and relevant TAR planning/engineering experience. Proficiency in SAP and Primavera P6 required. Strong understanding of Stage-Gate governance, critical path management, and integrated TAR execution.
You will have good interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as, a good level of computer literacy and be proficient in Microsoft Offic&lt;br /&gt;

MISSIONS:  

- Develop and implement structured training programs for mechanical systems and equipment used in PDH and PP units.  
- Deliver training sessions (classroom, workshops, and on-the-job training) covering:

Mechanical components (valves, gearboxes, seals)  
Conduct competency assessments for mechanical technicians and engineers to identify skill gaps.

Job Purpose:
Monitoring and controlling all oil and gas production and utility systems to ensure that production and

Your main duties will be to:
Assist the Production Supervisor in safe delivery of core business through active management of production tasks and core operational activities.
Act as a Permit Controller to ensure that all works are carried out in accordance with the Permit to Work process and company requirements
Provide the Production Supervisor with analysis and comment on production volumes, opportunities and risks in order to improve business performance.
Provide visible leadership to personnel to ensure production targets are met and production / rejection volumes are maximized
