The Security Coordinator (SC) will report to the Security Manager (SM), working within the Security Management Section the organization, and will assist in the delivery of the organization’s security strategy to reduce risk and respond to any threats. The SC will provide active day to day supervision and guidance to the organization’s contracted security guard force (Civil & Armed Guards), ensuring the effective manned guarding service delivery to top standards. Duties and Responsibilities: The main point of contact for the SM, taking a leading role in the delivery of a range of manned guarding services and to provide essential resilience to the Security Management Team during times of increased threat. To provide hands on, day to day leadership, supervision and direction to the contracted security guard force and to liaise with the SM on contractor’s management team. To manage the organization’s guard room, ensuring security policy is adhered to, and the operational effectiveness of all procedural, physical and technical security measures is maintained at all times. To ensure all official security records and paperwork is administered effectively. Under direction of the SM, to provide an out of hours response to security incidents, assisting in the coordination of security resources and management of any emergency response. To monitor and report to the SM security breaches and security related incidents and assisting with post breach/incident management. To coordinate and administer duty rosters for the contracted security guard force across the site and mobile patrol teams. To coordinate and administer the activities of armed guards (MOPOLS) on escorts, guard post manning and any other protective services required To administer all necessary paperwork to allow timely and accurate financial forecasting on behalf of both the contracted guard force and organization, including guard leave, time sheets, overtime and requests for additional guards and other resources. To develop and deliver training to the contracted security guard force to improve personal standards and ensure a robust, effective and coordinated response to incidents. To identify and report faults within security systems to the SM in a timely manner, monitoring remedial action accordingly. To maintain an accurate inventory of security equipment, ensuring all equipment is in satisfactory working order. To provide back-up to SM duties during times of SM absence.

At least 2 years’ experience supervising or managing a large security guard force or 5 years’ experience of providing manned guarding services Exceptional leadership skills and ability to command respect Must have a good knowledge of operating base and environs – Port Harcourt. Able to think innovatively and prepared to make decisions A good knowledge of fleet management and logistics support is an advantage. Main activities: Ensures full compliance with QHSSE rules, Permit to Work (PTW), and site operating procedures during all maintenance activities. Organises, plans, and supervises maintenance and troubleshooting activities on turbine-driven equipment (turbo-generators and turbo-compressors) and associated auxiliary systems. Provides technical support to the preparation and planning team for maintenance activities, including scope definition, resource requirements, and intervention strategies. Leads field teams during interventions, ensuring adherence to procedures, quality standards, and operational priorities. Takes full ownership of turbine systems under his responsibility in case of breakdown, ensuring rapid fault diagnosis, resolution, and restoration to normal operating conditions with minimal production impact. Manages and ensures availability, control, and proper use of specialised tools and equipment required for turbine maintenance. Prepares and validates detailed technical reports, including intervention feedback, failure analysis, and recommendations. Identifies recurrent failures, performs root cause analysis (RCA), and proposes corrective and preventive actions to improve reliability and availability. Interfaces with Operations, Electrical, and Instrumentation teams to ensure integrated system performance and safe restart of equipment. Contributes to achieving technical and maintenance KPIs, including equipment availability, reliability, and reduction of unplanned shutdowns. Specific activities Ensure that the transfer of knowledge by mentoring occurs properly within his teams, and actively participates in the OJT / assessment program. Mechanical Specific: Responsible for maintenance and performance of:3 × Turbo-generators (Nuovo Pignone MS5001 gas turbines coupled with GEC Alsthom T500 generators) 3 × Turbo-compressors (Thermodyn RC/RB)

Qualification: Minimum qualification level required is Licenciatura or Técnico Médio in Mechanical Engineering Theoretical Knowledge Strong understanding of oil & gas processes and production systems, including hydrocarbon risks. Good foundation in rotating equipment principles, including gas turbines, compressors, and generators. Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, mechanical drawings, and vendor documentation. Understanding of control and protection systems (ESD, alarms, trips, interlocks). Equipment Knowledge In-depth knowledge of turbine-driven equipment: turbo-generators and turbo-compressors, including auxiliaries (lube oil, fuel gas, seal gas, cooling systems). Familiar with vibration monitoring and condition monitoring systems. Understanding of mechanical and control interfaces with electrical and instrumentation systems. Maintenance & Systems Strong experience in preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance of rotating equipment. Working knowledge of CMMS (e.g., SAP PM): planning inputs, execution follow-up, and reporting. Ability to support job preparation, including scope definition, tools, spares, and procedures. Practical & Supervisory Skills Proven ability to organise, supervise, and coordinate field teams during maintenance and troubleshooting activities. Strong fault diagnosis capability and ownership of breakdown situations until full restoration. Effective use of specialised tools and alignment, inspection, and testing equipment. Maintenance Know-How Ability to troubleshoot and maintain turbine systems and driven equipment (generators and compressors). Capable of analysing failures, identifying recurring issues, and proposing corrective actions (RCA mindset). Ensures safe restart and operational readiness of equipment after intervention. Operations: Organises and performs on site the maintenance operations which are placed under his responsibility, Ensures strict compliance with COMPANY HSE policies, including adherence to Permit to Work (PTW) procedures, isolation standards, and approved operating procedures. Leads and coordinates field technicians during maintenance and troubleshooting activities, ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with industry best practices. Enters intervention reports in the CMMS (including those concerning SMC) and writes the technical reports related to his field, Prepares detailed technical reports, including failure analysis, root cause identification, and corrective/preventive recommendations. Carries out, at the Supervisor request, any intervention within his field of competence. Performs advanced fault diagnosis and takes in charge the systems under his responsibility in case of breakdown, ensuring timely restoration to normal operating conditions.

Theoretical Knowledge Basic understanding of oil & gas facilities and processes (well to export), including hydrocarbon risks (explosion, asphyxiation). Proficient in basic computer use (Word, Excel, email, internet). Strong foundation in process physics (temperature, pressure, volume, density, specific gravity). Able to read and interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, ESD matrices, datasheets, and vendor documentation. Understanding of control and regulation principles (simple, cascade, split range) and basic logic (AND/OR). Familiar with PCS, F&G, and ESD systems, including alarms, trips, and inhibits. Equipment Knowledge Good understanding of instrumentation: pressure, temperature, level, flow and interface measurement devices. Knowledge of metering systems (orifice, coriolis, turbine). Understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical systems (SOVs, relays, timers). Familiar with control valves, positioners, and PSV principles. Knowledge of Fire & Gas detection systems (flame, gas, smoke). Maintenance & Systems Understanding of preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance concepts. Basic CMMS knowledge: creating notifications, reading and completing work orders, identifying tools, spares, and procedures for maintenance tasks. Practical Skills Competent in use of hand tools and workshop equipment. Skilled in tubing, fittings, gaskets, seals, and cable terminations. Proficient in use of test and calibration tools: multimeters, calibrators, deadweight testers, temperature baths, hydraulic pumps. Maintenance Know-How Able to perform loop checks from field devices to control systems (PCS/ESD). Capable of calibration, testing, installation, and troubleshooting of transmitters (pressure, level, temperature, flow). Able to calibrate and maintain control valves and positioners.
