Business Analyst
Purpose
 Support the Lead of the Centre of Excellence in optimising Commercial Division performance. Key Responsibilities
Continuous Improvement: Identify and eliminate inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and process variations across Supply Chain and Procurement. Drive cost optimisation initiatives, conduct benchmarking against industry standards, and maintain the department's document management system sustainably.
Governance, Risk &amp; Compliance: Draft and maintain Supply Chain and Strategic Sourcing policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with Client policies and regulatory requirements. Functional Strategy: Provide data analysis and business intelligence as direct input into the Commercial Division's Functional Strategy.
Collaboration &amp; Stakeholder Engagement: Participate in Client cross-functional workstreams including the Sustainability Committee, Regulatory Compliance, Cyber Security register, Tawteen workshops, and Sister Company forums.

Education &amp; Experience
 Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Law, Engineering, or related field — mandatory. Professional certification (CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent) — mandatory. Master's degree — preferred. Technical Competencies

Purpose

Key Responsibilities
•    QA/QC Leadership: Own the full QA/QC function across EPCC phases; implement the Project QMS/Plan; report deviations, risks, and improvement opportunities to the Chief Major Projects Officer; foster a project-wide quality culture.
•    Quality Surveillance: Conduct and oversee quality surveillance at each project phase — design deliverable compliance (Engineering), vendor inspection and fabrication controls (Procurement), ITP/method statement adherence (Construction), and protocol-based system verification (Commissioning).
•    Audit Management: Develop and execute the Project Quality Audit Plan (internal teams, EPCC Contractor, Subcontractors and vendors); maintain the Audit Report Register; drive timely closure of all findings.
•    Procedure &amp; Compliance: Review and approve Project Procedures for QA/QC adequacy; ensure alignment with EPCC Contract, PIM, and client standards; monitor implementation across all phases.
•    Risk Management: Serve as Project Risk Manager — develop and maintain the Risk Register, perform monthly updates, and track quality-related risks and contractual implications.
•    QC &amp; Inspection Oversight: Allocate QC inspectors; oversee ITP hold/witness/review points and RFI process; review and approve inspection and expediting reports; manage NCRs, deviations, concessions, and corrective actions.
•    Procurement Quality: Embed quality requirements in material requisitions, bid evaluations, and purchase orders; coordinate vendor facility inspections; manage fabrication defect resolution.
•    Mechanical Completion &amp; Preservation: Lead mechanical completion (punch list A/B/C classification and closure); ensure equipment preservation at site per EPCC Contract and manufacturer standards.
•    Reporting &amp; Lessons Learned: Contribute to monthly progress reports and Steering Committee updates; capture and apply lessons learned; support project close-out per PIM procedures.
Reporting &amp; Interfaces
Reports to: Chief Major Projects Officer. Manages: Section Heads, Engineers, Coordinators, Supervisors, Inspectors. Interfaces with: EPCC Contractor, Subcontractors, Procurement, Engineering teams, and client IMS functions.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Education &amp; Experience
•    Bachelor's Degree (Technical discipline) from an accredited university — mandatory.
•    Professional Certification in Quality (e.g. CQE, Lead Auditor ISO 9001, or equivalent) — mandatory.
•    Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in major expansion or EPCC projects in Oil &amp; Gas or Petrochemicals.
•    Minimum 5 years in a QA/QC leadership role (Section Head, QA/QC Manager, or equivalent) with direct team management accountability.
Technical Competencies

 Job Purpose:
To optimize production downtime when executing maintenance activities contributing to the development and review of risk assessments.

Your main duties will be to: -
Oversee the management of topside non-routine activities, coordinating with various onboard entities (FOPS, E&amp;C, MP, MNT, INSP) and maintaining close collaboration with the onshore coordination team to ensure proper scope arbitration, validation, and  works.
Supervise contractor personnel onboard and act as the HSE representative to uphold safety standards.
Monitor offshore execution to ensure alignment with established KPIs, agreed milestones, and the approved P6 schedule.
Directly support Al-Shaheen field production goals by ensuring offshore activities are completed within the defined timeframes.

Serve as the primary liaison with onshore teams to address and resolve any issues that arise during the execution phase.

Carry out Internal audits of all scaffolding works.

Job Purpose
Implementation and execution of Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) activities in close liaison with Departmental Planners, Contracts &amp; Procurement, Warehouse, Maintenance Team Leads, Campaign &amp; Shutdown Coordinators, Field Operations Inspection, Maintenance Engineering, NOC Operations Centre Manager, and T1/T2 Maintenance Coordinators.
Key Accountabilities
- Work Pack Preparation: Prepare maintenance work packs; order materials and initiate fabrication for piping and structural CM jobs for SD, Campaign, and Base operations.

- Vendor Mobilisation: Arrange vendor mobilisation for spools and structural survey.

- Short-Term Maintenance: Key integration role in short-term maintenance preparation and execution, collaborating with a wide range of leadership stakeholders — 4-month and 5-week planning horizons.
- Budget Input: Provide input to Leads and Coordinators for development of annual operational and capital budgets.
- External Stakeholder Interface: Liaise with fabricators and design offices.

Activities
- Drive a safety culture and incident-free environment; ensure HSE compliance by personnel and contractors under guidance of the Static Team Lead.
- Lead cross-discipline maintenance coordinators to provide robust PPM and CM data supporting safe and efficient preparation, planning, execution, and closeout of base operations, campaigns, and shutdowns.

- Provide first-level specialist technical advice to site/offshore personnel on plant/equipment troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and maintenance investigations.

- Provide technical and administrative support for site base operations: scope preparation, vendor organisation, supply direct support to site (spare parts, tooling, technical procedures, work packs, work order resourcing).
- Ensure overall readiness and execution of scopes aligned with campaign shutdown gate criteria; work order resourcing.

- Maintain daily communication with NOC-OC T1/T2; provide support on technical/administrative issues; attend daily video conference calls with offshore OTLs and discipline supervisors.
- Visit offshore sites regularly to enhance collaboration and information flow.

- Manage onshore draftsman workload, prioritising based on upcoming campaign and shutdown.

- Manage the repair process for critical equipment including visits to local vendor workshops and warehouses.

- Ensure 4-month and 5-week planning are optimised in liaison with the planning department; attend weekly IOP meetings to ensure gate criteria are achieved (spares, vendor mobilisations, tooling, shipment, PRs).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

   AUTOMATION ENGINEER

- Carry out routine, corrective, and shutdown maintenance tasks in various Automation systems.
- Carry out Automation Project Engineering and commissioning activities in Automation Systems.
- Jobs in this level have prime responsibility to ensure that QAFCO’s Safety and Automation Systems (SAS) are maintained in an efficient and economical way, to improve the safety, quality, quantity, and environmental aspects of production.

Responsabilities

Job Purpose
This role offers an excellent opportunity to advance your career in the Oil &amp; Gas sector within one of SPIE’s most significant long‑term projects in Qatar. The project has successfully completed eight years of multidiscipline maintenance and operations activities for a major industrial area. Due to strong client satisfaction and new contract awards, additional positions have been created, including this Senior Mechanical Foreman role.
The Senior Mechanical Foreman (Port) will oversee mechanical maintenance operations, ensure safe work practices, supervise teams, and contribute to the reliability and efficiency of multiple mechanical systems within the industrial facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Operational &amp; Technical Duties
Oversee the operation and maintenance of all mechanical systems, including planning, scheduling, inspection, and supervision of daily activities.
Perform hands-on maintenance of mechanical equipment and control systems.
Troubleshoot faults, diagnose malfunctions, and carry out repairs to minimize equipment downtime.
Conduct maintenance and repair work on UPVC, copper, DI, HDPE, GRE, and CS piping systems.
Perform overhaul and repair of pumps, compressors, diesel engines, blowers, packaged units, split ACs, window AC units, chillers, cooling towers, and related equipment.
Adjust machinery settings to optimize performance and ensure maximum efficiency.
Support commissioning activities for new equipment and projects.
Maintenance Management
Utilise computerised maintenance systems, including SAP, for notifications, Work Orders, and service entry sheets.
Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance plans.
Monitor spare parts availability, coordinate replenishment, and support inventory control.
Prepare daily reports documenting maintenance activities, completed tasks, issues, and recommendations.
Interpret SPIRS, technical drawings, P&amp;IDs, piping isometrics, and material specifications.
Safety &amp; Compliance
Enforce a safe work culture and ensure strict adherence to HSE protocols.
Demonstrate proficiency in Oil &amp; gas work permit systems.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas in line with industry regulations.
Leadership &amp; Training
Supervise, guide, and motivate subordinates to achieve operational goals.
Provide on-the-job training to junior technicians.
Ensure effective communication within the team and with other departments&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Diploma in mechanical engineering or relevant trade certificate.

Minimum 10 years of experience in maintenance and overhaul of pumps, compressors, diesel engines, utility pipelines, and related systems, preferably in Oil &amp; Gas or industrial facilities.

At least 3 years of experience as a foreman or mechanical in charge.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, materials, fittings, fasteners, and industrial standards.

Experience with SAP maintenance modules and inventory control systems.
Ability to interpret technical documents, drawings, and specifications.
Experience in equipment commissioning and project support.

Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Ability to document procedures, maintain service records, and prepare daily activity reports.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
Strong organisational abilities, time management, and attention to detail.
Proficient computer skills, including MS Office applications.

Ability to work harmoniously with diverse teams and make sound operational decisions.

Good command of English (spoken and written).

            MAINTENANCE PLANNING ENGINEER MECHANICAL

- Prime responsibility for carrying out the planning of daily maintenance activities with primary responsibility to ensure ‘right-first-time’ job performance so that equipment reliability is maximized, while improving maintenance ‘tool time’ ,’work quality’ by anticipating and eliminating potential delays
through planning and coordination of labor and non-labor resources including materials and services.
- The role is expected to be able to remove uncertainty to execute planning in a systematic, efficient and economical way with forecasted maintenance job planning approach.
- He or she should be able to independently develop cost and time estimates of planned maintenance work to meet budgets and schedules.
- Planning Engineer shall have Competency and work experience in SAP Maintenance module, preferably in SAP S4-HANA including order planning, Purchase requisition, service entry sheets, call-off orders, service orders, Maintenance related Master data creation, updation, deletion etc.

Routine maintenance job planning
- Establish, maintain and improve the Maintenance Plans within the area of responsibility
- Develop equipment preventive maintenance schedule.
- Based on the daily new work request from production, Planning engineer shall prepare detailed activity break up along with the estimation of required resources for the job i.e. internal and external manpower, materials and services.
- Preparing work pack for each work order.
- Coordinate and review the work plan for assigned maintenance activities; review and evaluate planned work, methods , procedures and oversee spare parts inventory.

Contract Handling
- Participate in maintenance contracts handling including scope development, specifications, initiating procurement process, technical evaluation and provide support to superiors for management approval process as and when required.
- Day to day coordination with contractors to supply manpower and/or services based on requirement during daily work order planning.
- Verify and process the invoices submitted by the contractor.

Spares and Materials management
- Communicate and Co-ordinate with end-users to ensure spares and materials are made available by Planning Engineers for schedule activities. Also provide feedback to MRP so that cost-effective replenishment levels are maintained.
- Updating the item master including item specifications, Bill of Material, Spare Parts Criticality and new item codes in ERP as and when required.
- Responsible for the Periodic Inventory review &amp; Changes in the buffer stock levels with the coordination of end-users.
- Co-ordinate with Supply Chain department and Contractors for procurement of spares to ensure the availability.

Bachelor’s Engineering degree (12+4 years) in (Mechanical )
10 years relevant experience in Oil &amp; Gas/Petrochemical/Fertilizer industry and
competency*
Hands-on experience of the Work order part of EAM (enterprise asset
maintenance) module of SAP would be preferable. Competency and work
experience in ERP – SAP, preferably in SAP S4-HANA including Competency and
work experience in Maintenance related Master data creation, master data
updating, master data deletion etc in SAP.

Job Purpose:
 • Assess, analyse, plan and adjust lifting operations on site in line with NOC standards

Your main duties will be to: -

• Act as technical advisor of handling and lifting service for the topsides hook-up and installation Campaign

 Relevant Work Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience with at least 5 years offshore level on-field equipment in diversified oil &amp; gas processing or petrochemical plants.
 • Minimum 10 years in the lifting &amp; handling industry at supervisory level
• Offshore jacket / topside installation experience preferred
• Technical Engineer and / or Industry related qualifications such as OPITO / LEEA / EAL / CPA etc.
• Broad and extensive knowledge in handling &amp; lifting appliance &amp; operations
• Working to International standards such as: BS, LOLER, etc.!

The hired personnel should be capable of producing high quality Civil &amp; steel structural drawings in AutoCAD following QAFCO Standard, Specifications and instructions from QAFCO Engineers. He should be capable of producing drawings as per site requirements or idea given by Engineers.
· General arrangement drawing to be made in AutoCAD.
· To upgrade/produce engineering drawings and reports as per the specific trade efficiently and according to Company procedures, instructions and specifications and as advised by Company engineers.
· Prepare/modify drawings on AUTOCAD by referring to the existing drawings, taking instructions from the engineer or by taking site measurements.
· Update or prepare underground services drawings in different layers of services.
·Assist coordinators / members in maintaining Project files, common files, catalogues etc. whenever required in preparation of Project binders at various stages of projects including close-outs.
·Assist if required during site execution jobs.
·To register, upload, search and retrieve drawings from Qafco Technical Document Management system (QTDMS) as well as from hard copy drawing archive.
· Work with SAP after in house training.
· Create work orders, work permits, issuance of warehouse materials, reservations and pick slips.
· Obtain unit nos. for new equipment and assign document IDs for various drawings/documents.
