DCS Engineer (Honeywell Experion)

Job Purpose:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced DCS Engineer with expertise in Honeywell Experion system to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing process control strategies and logics in DCS (Honeywell Experion System) to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

 

Your main duties will be to: -

Develop and implement process control strategies and logics in Honeywell Experion DCS.

Analyze control strategies and control system interfaces for improving process control reliability and availability.

Perform system integration, testing, and commissioning of new project requirements.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to DCS hardware and software

Flawless Management of change

Support Risk Assessment for management of change and permit to work

Prepare and maintain documentation, including system design speciation's, work instructions and procedures.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operation of control systems. 

Provide technical support and training/coaching to local team personnel.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations

Profile

Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation/ Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 15 years of experience working with Honeywell Experion DCS.

Strong knowledge of process control principles and instrumentation.

Proficiency in Control Builder programming and configuration

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong communication on and interpersonal skills. 

Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulatons

Experience in oil and gas, chemical, petrochemical industry is preferred.

Certficaton in Honeywell Experion systems.

Familiarity with other control systems and PLCs

You will have good interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as a good level of computer literacy and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
