Specific professional knowledge:

  • Existing design of Control System/PLC Systems (S7.300 PLC, Siemens S7 400, Siemens S5, Siemens SMC 600 April, DCS ( IP21 ASPEN), DCS Yokogawa Centum Vp, PC Vue)
  • CMIMS : SAP PM

 

  • Establishing all PLC supervision and maintenance.
  • Under instruction from the Head of Maintenance ensures proper planning, scheduling, and execution of heavy level Maintenance operations in conjunction with production or other constraints,
  • Analyses indicators provided by the CMMS, stock management and intervention reports with a view to improving maintenance in his area (HSE, availability, preservation of equipment, optimisation of costs),
  • Makes sure that all Equipment and Spare parts documentation are updated (paper/electronic documentation and CMMS data base),
  • Ensures that the preventive maintenance operations scheduled on Facilities are executed as planned, ensuring that all necessary spare parts and materials are available as and when required,
  • Carries out any other duties as may be assigned by the Head of Maintenance dept from time-to time.
  • He participates in the preparation by ensuring all materials and services are organized and optimized as required of all site activities
  • He liaises with all third parts for troubleshooting, repair and refurbishment activities.
  • He works with company to define strategies for optimizing expenditure with subcontractor for level 4 and 5 Maintenance activities.
  • He takes part in different daily, weekly and site coordination meetings
  • He ensures feedback from site after vendor intervention and propose some improvement of installation
  • He analyses vendors repairs, failure reports, intervention repair, etc, and consolidate this data to make proposals to COMPANY for improvements and modifications.
  • Reviewing the stock management regarding spare parts (type of management, re-supply thresholds, etc.),
  • Proposes and justifies recommendations for the improvement of equipment availability, efficiency or maintainability and works in good collaboration with other entities to execute desired modifications,
  • Makes sure that all Equipment and Spare parts documentation are updated (paper/electronic documentation and CMMS data base),

QUALITY ASSURANCE:

  • In addition to audits and reviews as above mentioned he participates in periodic meetings with GMC and SMC to ensure proper surveillance.
  • Also, designs, follows-up and optimizes maintenance concepts in close cooperation with the GMCs and SMCs.

Profile

Profile :

The holder of this post must have the following qualifications:

  • Higher National Diploma or Certificate (HND/HNC (A-levels + 3 years’ study) or BTS/DUT or equivalent,
  • 10 years’ experience minimum in the maintenance field on oil and gas production installations,,
  • Knowledge of the process of oil and gas treatment, installations and Equipment.
  • Good knowledge of PLC systems (Triconex, Yokogawa, Siemens, Pneumatic systems), Language (Structured Text – SFC Sequential Flow Chart, Instruction List, Function Block Diagram)
  • SAP/R3 experience and know-how
  • Physical ability to work on offshore installations in the climatic conditions of the site,
  • Working language: English Bright 3.5 (or equivalent)
  • Fluent in English, knowledge of French & Portuguese language recommended
  • Leadership, reliability and work confidentiality.

Required authorisations
