Onshore Fabric Maintenance Superintendent

 

Job Purpose:

 

Responsibilities for managing and supporting all insulation, Painting and scaffolding activities and to delivery and improve the operations and capability, communicate and motivate the teams, supporting all levels of the organisation. Provide best practice for the delivery of business. To optimize production downtime when executing maintenance activities contributing to the development and review of risk assessments.

 

Your main duties will be to: -

 

  • Drive and Deliver Fabric Maintenance Safety, Quality, and Productivity within NOC Performance Recovery and Project Readiness Projects of Continuous Improvements / Lessons Learned via the audit process of achieved works, access solutions, execution methodology processes.
  • Ensure all assigned Projects are compliant to all aspects of the NOC Standards for Coating, Insulation, Fire Protection, Refractory Linings, Access, HSE, and Quality within the listed discipline activities as the NOC FM Superintendent Focal Point whilst liaising with NOC Materials Lead/Team, Inspection Team, Department Leads and Discipline Leads.
  • Accountable for all aspects of managing and guiding the offshore execution team to the day-to day FM activities as required in line with approved NOC procedures and guidelines.
  • Deliver Back Log Project FM execution plan in line with set KPIs and agreed milestones.
  • Ensure Contractor develops and manages painting quality control scheduled activities in line with hold points set out in ITP and endorse.
  • Participate to final close out QC report in respect of Quality Assurance objectives.
  • Review Contractors reports on performance and results, work in hands with Contractor to obtain a world class quality of services.
  • Ensure Contractor’s availability of manpower and equipment for ongoing project and ensure ordering is in line with planning gates.
  • Complete job-related risk assessments, hours and material estimation prior to start of tasks.
  • Maintain a daily record of progress (daily diary) noting special comments and logging man-hours for relevant work.
  • Ensure Contractor process guarantees that all tools, materials, and equipment are maintained and kept in good condition.
  • Attend Supply Chain Vendor kick-off meetings to represent NOC in a Fabric Maintenance Superintendent capacity to ensure the deliverables are clearly understood, addressing all clarifications on all NOC Standards for - Coating, Insulation, Fire Protection, Refractory Linings, Access, HSE, and Quality.
  • Review, Comment, Approve or Reject Vendor CTRs / quotations and Material Requisitions in compliance with the Project needs and in compliance to all NOC standards.
  • Prepare and participate to Audit Plan for all aspects of NOC Fabric Maintenance Projects.

 

 

 

Profile

Ideally, you will have graduated with minimum Higher Secondary School Education plus a three-year technical diploma (HNC, HND or equivalent).

  • Must be technically astute and well versed with Fabric Maintenance, Coating and Access Projects cradle to grave life cycle Projects.
  • Must be from a verifiable coatings background with a minimum of 15+ years field experiences globally onshore and offshore Oil & Gas Industry – reference and referees to be contacted.
  • Must have worked within an Operator and/or EPC Tier 1 Contractor environment at level of responsibility of producing Operator level documentation for large scale Fabric Maintenance contracts, Coatings or Access Projects within HSE, Quality, Execution, Budget Building / Cost Controls, Audit.
  • Must have Audit experience within the Supply Chain from End User to Fabric Maintenance Contractor.
  • Must be fully experienced within all aspects of HS&E within the Coatings Industry
  • Experience within Contractor to Company Project and Contract Management within an Onshore to Offshore large- scale multi-discipline and multi-cultural Project.
  • ISO 9001:2015 Lead Internal and External Auditor (Quality)

  • NEBOSH General Certificate (HSE)

You will have good interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as a good level of computer literacy and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
