Votre mission

Serve as CABGOC I&E Construction Representative for all insrument and electrical construction activities throughout the concession.

Serve as contact for all I&E activity, questions, concerns, or issues and maintain an effective working relationship with contractor Superintendents and Supervisors.

As part of the I&E Team, perform a variety of functional roles including technical review; quality inspections and audits; safety and installation assurance and handover activies, and oversight of contractor quality personnel, work product, and submissions.

 

Serve as the primary site representative for CABGOC to manage all instrument & electrical (I&E) related activities for the I&E contractor.
Work with the contractor’s job foreman to maintain a set of as-built drawings throughout the job that is not a working copy and ensure that the as-built drawings are submitted to the E&I Construction Lead for review at the completion of each project.
File a copy of the project red-lined, as-built drawings and commissioning sheets by project name in the FEC Rep office filing cabinet.
Provide technical field support for the respective Construction Lead.
Perform start-up and/or commissioning support in compliance with Chevron SOPs
Provide technical oversight on all assigned projects to ensure construction efficiency.
Provide on-site mentorship and training with the I&E contractors.
Perform review of contractor technical and execution documentation for all assigned projects, and specifically provide input and review all PPSP Punch lists; generate and compile redlines; review transmittals and log books; validate interface tie-in points.
Participate in and/or facilitate (as assigned) any pre-job walks and activities & project closeouts.
Monitor contractors’ overall safety performance (CHESM) and perform site reviews for safety.
Provide quality assurance of the contractor executed work.
Perform on-site construction inspection services to ensure work performed and equipment installed adheres to NEC, API, and COPI standards.
Direct job safety and coordination meetings prior to the start of work at the job site each day.
Immediately notify the I&E Construction Coordinator & Lead of any job site incidents. Participate in accident investigations involving their assigned projects.
Ensure that each major project assigned has an applicable PSSP and a copy of the PSSP is located at the job site. A review of the PSSP shall be held by the inspector with the contractor’s foreman and crew prior to the start of work on each project to ensure that the contractor’s staff is familiar with the project safety guidelines.
Coordinate project-commissioning activities and handover with Operations and Maintenance groups.
