Job description

Specific professional knowledge: CMIMS : SAP/R3

Instrument Specific:

Control process, PLC, Control loop and Data transmitter

 

Context and missions :

  • Rotation Status.
  • Work in remote site
  • He is responsible for maintenance operations within his field of competence.
  • He guarantees a good level of availability of the equipment on production SITE.
  • He plays a predominant role in the transfer of skills to personnel undergoing training and development by mentoring on SITE.

 

Main activities:

  • Respect and apply QHSSE rules and procedures
  • In his discipline, he/she is in charge to :
    • Organize and perform on site the maintenance operations which are placed under his responsibility.
    • Assist the Preparation / planning team by giving any
      technical support for preparation of the jobs in his
      discipline.
    • Manage interventions and prepare the technical reports related to the field.
    • Is responsible of the specific tools of his team. (quantity and availability)
    • Take in charge the systems / equipment under his/her responsibility in case of breakdown until correct operation status.
    • Identify recurrent corrective maintenance interventions, analyze them and suggest improvements.

 

Specific activities

  • Ensure that the transfer of knowledge by mentoring occurs
    properly within his teams, and actively participates in the OJT /
    assessment program.
  • Identify any recurring problems related to the availability or
    quality of spare parts.
  • Keep a critical eye on current preventive maintenance programs
    and, if need be, suggest improvements.
  • Can be part of Emergency Response Team.
  • Organize the site rotational assignment.

Profile

Profile:

The holder of this post must have the following qualifications:

Higher National Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Engineering,

6 to 8 years’ experience in the field of maintenance on oil and gas production installations,

A basic knowledge of the process of oil and gas treatment, installations and a thorough knowledge of the equipment used in oil and gas treatment installations

 Working knowledge of general instrumentation, field devices (sensors and final elements), instrument loops, etc.

Working knowledge of Instrument Testing and Calibration Tools

Working knowledge of Flowmeters Configuration (electromagnetic, orifice plate, ultrasonic, turbine, variable area )

Previous SPIE experience (a plus)

Specific professional knowledge: CMIMS : SAP/R3
