Task Force Leader

 

Job Purpose:

To optimize production downtime when executing maintenance activities contributing to the development and review of risk assessments.

 Your main duties will be to: -

  • Drive and deliver work order material planning improvement which consists into monitoring material booking versus planning at all stages as well as driving a task force
  • Ensure Safety, Quality, and Productivity within the assigned team for Continuous Improvements / Lessons Learned via the audit process of achieved works, access solutions, execution methodology processes
  • Build and obtain management approval for successful implementation of sustainable solutions addressing:
  • Late preparation monitoring – Work order QA/QC
  • Stock Vs Criticality lessons learned/ Update stock setting
  • QA QC path versus documentation approval bottleneck
  • Master data cleaning due to expired documentation
  • Valves lead time, including selection technical evaluation to documentation approval/ QAQC
  • Associated KPIs and agreed milestones/roadmap
  • Ensure all stages of the project / roadmap are compliant to all aspects of NOC Standards and Quality, liaise with NOC Materials Lead/Team, Backlog Lead/Team, Procurement Team, Department Leads and Discipline Leads
  • Assist NOC Contracts Team with all Contractual documentation from ITT through to Contract Award if required
  • Mentor and coach each team members in any identified gaps to reach a level of compliance with change management
  • Ensure deliverables are clearly understood by all stakeholders, communicate regularly on progress and ensure objectives are aligned among all
  • Draft, Review and submit to management updated or new Discipline documentation required to achieve the material planning improvement process
  • Review and perform structured gap analysis and identify narrative improvements to align with objectives
  • Report to line management at the earliest opportunity of any required escalation as well as be a force of proposition for solutions
  • Participate in various meetings with a clear confident and concise knowledge of material management
  • Visit offshore sites on project basis to enhance collaboration with final customer (offshore sites)
  • Report on progress to Materials Lead and BRP Lead of improvements being implemented
  • Any other ad-hoc tasks as directed by Team Lead

Profile

  • Ideally, you will have graduated with minimum Higher Secondary School Education plus a three-year technical diploma (HNC, HND or equivalent).
  • Relevant Work Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience with at least 5 years offshore level on-field equipment in diversified oil & gas processing or petrochemical plants.
  • Must be technically astute and well versed with Materials Management
  • Must have experience as a change management lead on a minimum of 5 projects with tangible records and results within the Oil & Gas and Supply Chain Industry
  • Must have Audit experience within the Material management from End User to Supplier
  • Skilled and experienced in leading and working with multi-cultural nd highly technical specialized team
  • Preferably holding a change management as well as Agile / Scrum methodology certification
  • T-BOSIET / BOSIET / FOET for offshore trips when required
  • You are fluent in English with both written and verbal communication
  • You will have good interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as, a good level of computer literacy and be proficient in Microsoft Office
