Job description

Key Activities:
- Manage interfaces between subsea equipment suppliers, SPS department and drilling rig during well operations.
- Coordinate and witness subsea equipment SIT, offshore testing and installation activities, when required (i.e. Landing String system, IWOCS, etc.).
- Assisting Drilling superintendent on subsea BOP troubleshooting
- Reviewing and commenting on technical documentation produced by the contractors (e.g. technical reports, specifications, procedures, drawings, etc.) ensuring the implementation of the established procedures and good engineering practice.
- Review configuration of subsea Landing String equipment, such as the Subsea Test Tree (SSTT) space-out inside the BOP, lubricator valve positioning, retainer valves functionality, and surface flow tree.
- Act as focal point for the rig contractor and completion, well intervention, and subsea equipment suppliers to finalize the rig layout, optimizing onboard equipment positioning and defining any required rig modifications (e.g., control umbilical routing, surface equipment placement, coiled tubing lifting frame installation, Landing String and XT IWOCS umbilical arrangement).- Follow up offshore operations on the drilling rig for landing string operations and well testing
- Follow up offshore operations on the drillship for landing string operations and well testing
- Solid knowledge of horizontal X-tree system and subsea completion operations, including tubing hanger installation and crown plug installation/retrieval.
- Solid knowledge of IWOCS (Intervention Workover Control System), including but not limited of system set up
- Solid knowledge of subsea electro-hydraulic (EH) landing string systems and related completion operations.
- Solid knowledge of subsea slickline operations
Resolving ongoing technical issues concerning all aspects of subsea equipment.
- Proven ability to identify and resolve technical and operational issues related to subsea equipment throughout all project phases.

Subsea Engineer with Baker Hughes IWOCS and Horizontal Xmas Tree experience

Purpose:
Subsea Completion Engineer will be responsible at wellsite for managing interfaces between subsea equipment and drilling rig, ensuring readiness of documentation and equipment, and supporting testing, installation, and commissioning activities during well operations for an ultra-deep water project.

In addition, to support the Drilling and Completion & Development team in the engineering, design, manufacturing, testing and installation of subsea production systems focusing on landing string operations, IWOCS system setup, well testing, slickline and subsea completion operations. To assure that the design meets project requirements, applicable standards and engineering best practices.
Main Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the planning and execution of the subsea landing string /well testing & clean up/ slickline, IWOCS integration and main interface with SPS Department for the Drilling and completion activity for a ultra deepwater project
