Job description

We currently have an opportunity within SPIE Oil & Gas Services Saudi Arabia for a:
Superintendent (M/F)

Job Purpose:

This is an opportunity for you to be responsible, Coordinate and manage the technical teams and the work of subcontractors working on a shipyard concerning an armed ship. In terms of OHS You will ensures the general coordination of prevention measures in the scope of the site responsible.

Your main duties will be to:

 Guarantee the schedule and the respect of the negotiated intervention times with the client.
 Coordinate the interventions of the teams on board.
 Manage the co-activity on the ship.
 Guarantee the respect of the HSE rules on site
 Coordinate the intervention of the teams in the presence of the Saudi marine.
 Contribute to the development of the Customer relationship
 Ensure the management of its employees.
 Ensure the internal control of its activity and OHS of its activity.
 Ensure the milestone of end of shutdown
 Ensure the safety of the personnel on site.
 Anticipate the risks of drift and alert
 Ensure customer satisfaction

Profile

 Ideally, you will have a Degree in engineering discipline from a recognized university with 10 years of experience at a port and/or shipyard, preferably with past experience working on a military naval yard, ship, boat.
 You will have a minimum of 10 years' proven experience working in a similar role
 You will preferably have previous work experience in GCC country. Experience working in KSA is advantage.
 You will have proven experience in Military naval environment, Process "Provide the MRO", Regulation OHS, Coordination of sites / workshops.
 You will have a good level of computer literacy and be proficient in Microsoft Office. You will need excellent communication and presentation skills in English both written and verbal in English

Candidate criteria

Minimum level of education required

B-Lower secondary education

Minimum level of experience required

6 years or more

Required technical skills

Technician or Engineer with at least 5-10 years experience in the field of commissioning tests of mechanical equipment (pumps, valves, fans, pipe lining,etc.) at major industrial sites.
he has management experience and good interpersonal skills

Languages

English (C-Professional working proficiency)
