SPIE Services Nigeria Limited is currently looking for QA/QC Electrical / Instrumentation Material Inspector to join its work force in Port Harcourt yard Nigeria.
Key responsibilities shall include but not limited to the following:
Material Inspection:
- Conduct thorough inspections of electrical & Instrumentation materials, equipment, and installations to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
- Verify the accuracy of dimensions, ratings, and material certifications.
- Perform visual inspections, dimensional tests, and functional tests.
Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry codes, standards, and project specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and findings.
- Prepare and document non-conformances and recommend corrective actions.
Quality Control:
- Monitor and control the quality of electrical & Instrumentation work throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in quality control audits and inspections.
- Liaise with construction, maintenance, training teams, subcontractors, and engineers to address quality issues.
Reporting:
- Prepare and submit inspection reports, documenting findings, non-conformances, and corrective actions.
- Communicate quality issues and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
Other Duties:
- May assist with the development and implementation of quality control procedures.
- May be involved in the training of other staff on quality control procedures.
