Job description

The role is to ensure the preparation, coordination, and follow-up of valves maintenance activities during shutdowns and maintenance operations.

Key Responsibilities

Work Preparation

Identify and analyze the scope of valves to be handled
Prepare detailed work packs, including:

  • work procedures
  • method statements
  • spare parts requirements
  • specific tools and equipment
  • Define required resources (workforce, skills, equipment)


Valve Scope Management

Manage different types of valves:

  • manual valves
  • motor-operated valves (MOV)
  • safety valves (PSV, ESD valves)


Planning & Coordination: Work closely with shutdown planning team
Integrate valve activities into the overall shutdown schedule

HSE, Risk & Lifting

Integrate HSE requirements into all preparation activities
Identify risks related to valve interventions (pressure, fluids, gas exposure)
Define appropriate mitigation measures
Integrate lifting activities into work packs:

  • load identification
  • selection of lifting equipment
  • coordination with lifting teams
  • Ensure compliance with lifting and safety standards


Execution Support & Follow-up

Provide technical support during execution
Manage field deviations and update work packs when required
Monitor progress of valve activities
Participate in lessons learned and feedback processes

Profile

• 3 to 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance
• Proven experience in valve maintenance
• Experience in shutdown / Oil & Gas environment

• Ability to read technical documentation:
o P&IDs
o isometric drawings
o datasheets
• Solid understanding of lifting operations (lifting & rigging):
o basic lifting plan interpretation
o risk identification
o coordination with lifting teams
