Job description

Receive daily work orders from Supervisor.

Act as HLO team member during helicopter operations.

Work in coordination with Operator, Crane to disembark goods, materials and personnel to and from FSO2.

Clear space on the deck for offloading goods and materials. Distribute goods and materials to users.

Assist in fuel oil bunkering and Slop Produce Water transferring to supply boat.

Assist in cargo tank cleaning and inspection, and offloading operations.

Assist in deck maintenance such as chipping, cleaning and keeping deck tidiness all the times.

Assist in the mooring/unmooring operation and Watchkeeping Duty at FSO2 aft station during cargo offloading operation.

Assist to Deck Foreman (FSO2) on all lifting equipment (slings, shackles, containers, basket, trolleys, provision davit, etc.) are tagged with appropriate colour code, well maintained and certified in compliance with the COMPANY’s SSHE rules and regulations, including pre and post use and report any potential defects to Deck Foreman (FSO2).

Clean the deck and ensure the pleasant condition of the deck at all time.

Assist in carry out first-line maintenance for the deck machineries and hull paint maintenance.

Act as rescue team member when FSO2 perform confine space entry permit.


Emergency Response Tasks:

Act as a fireman, spill clean-up team member and lifeboat evacuation team member for emergency response contributing to the achievement of FSO2’s objective.


Deck Crew facilitates the deck activities including the movement of goods, materials and personnel to and from Floating Storage Offloading Unit 2 (FSO2), manages space for goods and materials, cleans the deck area, performs minor maintenance of deck equipment, and assists in the catering and accommodation services.

Minimum level of experience required

1 year or more

Required authorisations

Possess Certificate of Proficiency STCW 2010 Rating Forming part of Navigational Watch (Deck)
Hold Certificate of Endorsement “valid for service in Oil Tankers” is preferable
Attended all compulsory courses needed by STCW 2010 convention.
Minimum 1 years’ experience as AB Rating on Marine vessels
Advanced Fire Fighting Training.
Basic Fire Fighting Training.
Basic First Aid Training.
Rigging Slinging & Lifting Operation Training
Confine Space Training
HLO or HLA Certified


  • Thai (E-Native or bilingual proficiency)
  • English (B-Limited working proficiency)
