We currently have an opportunity within SPIE Global Services Energy Doha for a:
E&I Commissioning Technician
Job Purpose:
- The successful candidate will be responsible for executing and supporting the commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems, ensuring the seamless and safe startup of onshore and onshore facilities.
Your main duties will be to:
- Conduct pre-commissioning checks, inspections, and functional tests of E&I systems, including calibration and loop checks.
- Execute commissioning activities such as power-up, performance tests, and system verification for electrical and instrumentation equipment.
- Verify and ensure the proper functioning of Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS), and other control systems.
- Support integration and interconnection between electrical and instrumentation systems, ensuring seamless interaction with mechanical and process systems.
