Job description
· Receive daily work orders from Supervisor; carry out preventive, corrective, first-line maintenance of static, and rotating equipment.
· Perform routine test of standby equipment and troubleshoot defective equipment as instructed. Repair and restore the equipment back to its serviceable condition. Report abnormity or discrepancy to Supervisor.
· Check spare parts/ equipment inventory and report and reorder any shortage to COMPANY ‘s Supervisor for further action.
· Ensure consistent equipment history and record tracking in computerized database.
· Work with Technicians of other disciplines to perform the job intervention.
· Ensure housekeeping and the workplace is in an organized and clean condition.
· Write rotation handover log to his counterpart, indicating the main events and the required follow-up actions.
Comply with and promote the COMPANY’s SSHE policy, rules and regulations to all work under responsibility.
Profile
Technician, Mechanical carries out preventive and corrective maintenance for mechanical equipment such as rotating and stationery machineries as instructed and assigned by Supervisor. The job holder troubleshoots breakdowns, executes repairs and reports major problem to Supervisor, maintains good housekeeping at WORKSITE and ensures tools and equipment are kept in good working order.

Minimum level of experience required
3 years or more
Required authorisations
Technical Diploma in Mechanical or related fields.
3 years’ experience in maintenance in oil and gas industry or similar.
Fair knowledge of written and spoken English.
Ability to operate PC.

Rigging Slinging & Lifting Operation Training.
