Job description

SPIE Services Nigeria Limited is currently looking for a Site Support Process Engineer to join its work force in Nigeria.

Responsible candidate shall:

  • Follow-up activities of the offshore teams and remain available (TIER 2) to provide and/or obtain required assistance and support upon initiation by EGINA (and sometimes AKPO) SMART Room
  • Follow up the implementation of Process and Flow Assurance recommendations to site and facilitate necessary adaptation to meet evolution of site condition or operational team request
  • Familiar with Company Rules and Specifications and applies the requirements during studies
  • Assist to provide process input for facility modification and upgrade studies
  • Participate in troubleshooting activities for EGINA FPSO (and AKPO FPSO if required) and recommend optimizations
  • Is able to use process simulation tools to perform studies for production optimization, forecasting, small modifications, etc.
  • Performs Process & Flow Assurance studies when requested and recommend performance optimization or upgrade
  • Ensure the respect of deadlines for assigned tasks and studies
  • Participate in safety review (HAZID, HAZOP, etc.) for site modifications
  • Participate in the close out of actions resulting from audits such as OPERSAFE, HAZOP, HAZID, etc.
  • Liaise with Tier 3 Process & Flow Assurance team to provide technical support to Sites & SMART Rooms for specialized studies or activities (e.g. pigging, well clean up, etc.)
  • Contribute to preparation or update of Operating Manuals, Procedures, and performance test protocols
  • Participate in mobilization of 3rd party to Site or for Studies led by Process & Flow Assurance team
  • Assist with implementation of DW Sand Management Guidelines and related activities
  • Participates in REX and maintain a REX log of Process and Flow Assurance recommendations to Site & SMART Room

Profile

QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Education: Minimum BENG in Chemical Engineering or related engineering discipline
  • Professional Experience: 0 to 3 years in oil and gas industry or others
  • Language: Fluent spoken and excellent written English
