Job description

Establishes and maintain a strong safety culture in line with Company HSE requirements and rules.
Is responsible to ensures compliance with HSE Legislation (Occupational and process), Company standards and Procedures under his area of responsibility. Compliance with Operating Procedures and Guidelines with the asset to ensure process safety, operational safety, and plan integrity.
Contributes to achieve and improve HSE targets, respecting the existing procedures and advising new specifics ones (If required)
Give his contribution in hazard analyses, incident investigations in root cause failure analyses, process incidents advising his hierarchy about HSE issue and proposing corrective solutions.
Operates in conformity with mechanical/electrical codes, standards, regulations, and industry best practices (ASME, API, ANSI, OSHA, ISO 45001, ISO 14001)
Participate to safety talk before and after intervention.
Participate to key procedure audits
OPERATION
Organises on site the maintenance operations which are placed under his responsibility, and specially:
-        Ensures that the members of his teams have the qualifications and skills required for the tasks entrusted to them and, if need be, suggests corrective measures.
-        Ensure the quality of his teams’ interventions by frequent on-site checks,
-        Ensures that TotalEnergies’ HSE regulations are respected
-        With his teams assists specialists working under Specific Maintenance Contracts (SMC),
Assists the planning team by giving any technical support for the preparation of the jobs in his discipline.
Manages interventions using the CMMS and checks intervention reports in the CMMS
Monitors the functioning of utilities and tools and equipment placed under his responsibility,
Takes in charge the systems under his responsibility in case of breakdown until correct operation status.
Identifies recurrent corrective maintenance interventions, analyses them, and suggests improvements,
Authorized by the RSES, approved by the Affiliate Electrical Authority, and registered in ECRS, heshe acts as Personal Isolation Authority:  
·        Prepares personal isolation plans for equipment to be isolated and carry out associated risk assessment.  
·        Leads the toolbox talk for isolation and de-isolation.  
·        Implements the personal isolation or de-isolation in accordance with the personal isolation plan.  
·        Ensures that isolation tags and signs are added and removed in connection with the isolation and de-isolation.                                                            ·        Confirms that all isolation points are in place, that the integrity has been proven, and that they are free from all sources of energy.                            ·        Ensures that the worksite is checked and confirmed safe before de-isolation is performed. Ensures that verification after de-isolation is performed where required.

Profile

He is responsible for maintenance operations within his field of competence.

He ensures that maintenance operations under his responsibility are carried out in strict accordance with TotalEnergies’ current safety rules and operating procedures and in accordance with standard industry practice, thereby guaranteeing the quality of maintenance operations, within his field, carried out on site by NorSpie.

He guarantees a good level of availability of the equipment he is responsible for on production sites.

He plays a predominant role in the transfer of skills to personnel undergoing training by mentoring on site.

Ability to lead and motivate multi-national team.

Pride in his work, ability to maintain good relations with colleagues and others.

Physical ability to work on offshore installations in the climatic conditions of the site.

Perfectly competent and independent in his field, must show common sense, organization ability and responsibility.

Must have a proven sense of responsibility.

Rigorous and methodical in his approach to operation in particular handling operation

Must be able to anticipate and analyze situation.

Must have proven ability as a leader of dedicated teams.

Natural authority, founded on his abilities and on the trust, he has in his team, is essential.
