Coating Specialist

 

Job Purpose:

To optimize production downtime when executing maintenance activities contributing to the development and review of risk assessments.

 

Your main duties will be to: -

  • Drive and Deliver Fabric Maintenance Safety, Quality, and Productivity within NOC Backlog Project of Continuous Improvements / Lessons Learned via the audit process of achieved works, access solutions,
    execution methodology processes
  • Ensure all Fabric Maintenance Projects, New Build Projects, and Hook-ups are compliant to all aspects of the NOC Standards for Coating, Insulation, Fire Protection, Refractory Linings, Access, HSE, and Quality within the
    listed discipline activities as the NOC FM & Coatings Specialist Focal Point whilst liaising with NOC Materials Lead/Team, Inspection Team, Department Leads and Discipline Leads
  • Assist NOC Contracts Team with all Contractual documentation from ITT through to Contract Award
  • Ensure FM Contractors and Supply Chain Vendor source / employ competencies of the skilled tradesmen to perform the deliverables of the NOC Standards via an audit plan and processes in compliance to NOC Coating Standard
  • Mentor and coach FM Contractors and Supply Chain Vendors in any identified gaps to reach a level of compliance and acceptable standard of workmanship that is uniformity is achieved throughout all NOC Fabric
    Maintenance Projects, New Build Projects, and Hook-ups
  • Attend Supply Chain Vendor kick-off meetings to represent NOC in a Coating Specialist capacity to ensure the deliverables are clearly understood, addressing all clarifications on all NOC Standards for - Coating, Insulation,
  • Fire Protection, Refractory Linings, Access, HSE, and Quality
  • Review, Comment, Approve or Reject Supply Chain Discipline Procedures and Inspection Test Plans in COMPANY CMS (Manasa) for status ranking of documentation in compliance to all associated NOC Standards
  • Prepare Audit Plan for all aspects of NOC Fabric Maintenance and Coating Projects
  • Prepare NOC Fabric Maintenance Execution Strategy Document and Project Execution Plan, Written Instructions and Guidance documents for all Technical Queries and issues
  • Review and perform structured gap analysis of all NOC Standards associated Coatings, Insulation, Fire Protection, and Access to ensure all latest industry applicable Standard

 

 

 

Profile

Ideally, you will have graduated with minimum Higher Secondary School Education plus a three-year technical diploma (HNC, HND or equivalent).

Relevant Work Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience with at least 5 years offshore level on-field equipment in diversified oil & gas processing or petrochemical plants.

You are fluent in English with both written and verbal communication

You will have good interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as a good level of computer literacy and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
