Votre mission

The Lead estimator  supports the Integrated Service Department manager in the preparation of technical and commercial offers.

Lead cost estimation activities for EPC projects in the Oil & Gas & 
renewable sector, from early design to bid submission. Deliver accurate, detailed and reliable cost estimates that support strategic and financial project decisions.

Key Responsibilities :

· Oversee the entire bid lifecycle in accordance with the internal tendering procedure,
from the call for tender to contract signature
· Carry out a first analysis of the call for tender and a synthesis to facilitate the
Bid/Nobid decision.
· Dispatch the relevant documents to the concerned departments (Legal, HSE,
Insurance, Tax…).
· Prepare the “Who does What” (responsibility matrix detailing the tasks, deadlines and
persons in charge).
· Develop the bid schedule, including validation meetings and matching the client
deadlines.
· Estimate the costs (engineering manhours, material costs, transportation costs,
logistics and site manhours).
· Interface with the Procurement Department to estimate the supplies and tools.
· Interface with the subsidiaries to gather estimates for all the logistics and personnel.
· Submits his / her analysis to the Is Department Manager for validation.
· Prepare the files for the bid close-out meetings.
· Prepare the technical offer.
· Participate in the drafting of the commercial and contractual offer.
· Support the transition to the project execution phase.
· Perform regular Market / Benchmark analysis and feedback (REX) sessions.
· Ensure proper filing and management of Commercial Resource Management tools

Votre profil

Technical Skills :

· Knowledge of Energies market

· Knowledge of costing databases and identification of the relevant input data

· Knowledge of costing tools (professional or advanced tailor-made excel ones)

· Ability to liaise a team around a common project

· Ability to present technical and commercial offers internally

· Strong knowledge of equipment, construction, engineering, and commissioning costs

 

Soft Skills :

- Accuracy, analytical thinking, autonomy, pragmatic

- Leadership and teamwork in multidisciplinary environments

6 ans ou plus

Habilitations souhaitées

· 5-10 years of experience minimum in bid/tender in the field of turnkey/EPC projects.

· First operational experience on an Oil & Gas/Renewable project would be a plus.
