Job description

We currently have an opportunity within SPIE Oil & Gas Services Middle East LLC Doha, Qatar for a Project / Interface Engineering Services.

 

Job Purpose:

To ensure successful execution and coordination of Brownfield Modification and Construction Projects by managing interfaces and alignment among various internal and external stakeholders, integrating lessons learned, and securing technical endorsements.


Your main duties will be :

- Coordinate interface engineering between E&C and MP project activities, including battery limit
definition, technical reviews, tie-ins, material supply, hot-works requirement, etc, including to
produce interface deliverables.
- Participate to the IOP planning review, assess any planning modification and adjust the engineering
priorities.
- Coordinate the various specialists involved in the studies (including Engineering, HSEQ,
Construction, Field Operations) to ensure the facilities are safe, easy to operate, maintainable and
inspectable.
- Develop technical solution for various project & engineering issues by multi-discipline coordination.
- Review & comment on deliverables and Technical Dossiers prepared by Contractors.
- Support Construction and Brownfield Projects departments as required during procurement &
fabrication phases and deliver in due time the key interface deliverables.
- Develop, release, and maintain engineering processes and procedures, work instructions, check
lists to ensure the proper execution and delivery of the objectives.
- Ensure that the Contractors submit all deliverables on time and check regularly to achieve NOC
quality expectations.
- Ensure proper monitoring and reporting of activities.
- Carry out any other duties/projects may be assigned to him/her by the hierarchy.

 

Profile

 

Ideally, you will have graduated with minimum Higher Secondary School Education plus a three-year technical diploma (HNC, HND or equivalent).

Relevant Work Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience with at onshore level on-field equipment in diversified oil & gas processing or petrochemical plants.

You are fluent in English with both written and verbal communication

You will have good interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as, a good level of computer literacy and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
