We currently have an opportunity within SPIE Oil & Gas Services Doha for a:

Marine Instrumentation Assistant Technician

Job Purpose:

This position is a unique opportunity with so many advantage in oil and gas career sector in one of the most important Project handled by SPIE in Qatar with  QatarEnergy multi discipline tasks in Maintenance and Operation of large Industrial Area

The first Contract achieved over 07 years and a new contract for 05 years been awarded

The candidate starts with general skills like :

Reading drawings, Single line diagram, general maintenance of different Instrumentation  systems and equipment mainly the Fire and Gas detection and protection system

Written communication, Active listening, Verbal communication, editing.

Organization, Time management, Attention to detail, Problem-solving, 

Computer literacy essential and familiarity with MS Office 2000 packages.

The candidate concludes with important abilities including Safe work culture and practices 

 

Your main duties will be to:-

Plant maintenance on DCS, Burner management system, SMART field transmitters, field Instruments such as flow meters, level transmitters, motorized valves, temperature transmitters, solenoid valves, PLC’s, SCADA, traffic light systems, vibration monitoring systems, fire & gas system.

You will be demanded to realize the following activities and tasks 

 - Troubleshooting of all kind of Instrumentation trips & alarm (of different systems)

- Application of general maintenance,

- Routine test and inspections of Instrumentation of Marine installation and equipment

 

 

Profile

Ideally you will have Trade certificate from a recognized
institution with 03 year experience  in oil and gas or petrochemical industry or in a similar system I facility.

 

 

The candidate shall have relevant experience in the oil and gas or petrochemical industry or in a similar facility.

 

The technician should be familiar with international codes and standards. Staff selected for this position shall have good spoken, skills in English.

knowledge and skills Marine infrastructure is must,

Experience in on-line analyzers, salinity, free chlorine, chlorophyll, and TOC analyzers, familiarity with various types of detectors and sensors used for fire and gas detection shall be an added advantage

Staff selected for this position shall have good spoken in English.
