Job description

1. Ensuring adherence to all safety protocols and regulations during fabrication process.
2. Manages and ensures successful execution of Onshore Brownfield piping and Mechanical
fabrication project components to meet prioritized objectives (Safety, Quality, Schedule, and
others, as appropriate).
3. To supervise and control the activities of the Contractor/Subcontractors related to the piping
and mechanical fabrication, Mechanical Completion, Pre-commissioning and Commissioning
to ensure that it complies with contractual requirements, project documentation and
applicable International Standards.
4. To check the constructability aspects, as well as the compliance to all technical requirements,
of the deliverables provided by the Engineering Team Contractor.
5. To review deviations to QatarEnergy LNG construction standards for comments with
Contractors / Subcontractors input, to deliver a consistent dossier (documents, materials,
procured and fabricated items, precom/com dossiers, as built …) for the construction activities.
6. Identify any areas of concern with respect to progress and/or quality and recommend
corrective actions as required.
7. To Liaise with Contractors/Subcontractors for all fabrication subject, MC, Pre-commissioning
and Commissioning to ensure the Contractors/Subcontractors progress follow up and
reporting.
8. Review Contractor’s progress reports and reports for all the activities, highlighting critical
problems, drifts and dysfunctions if any.
9. To Participate to Risk Assessments, kick off meetings and Pre-Job Meetings, pre-Simops visits,
technical meeting etc. as required in accordance with Company's referential.
10. To participate to REX and Lessons Learned for the Company
Profile
Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Sciences or Engineering.
Knowledge and/or
Experience
8 years experience with Large Projects in Construction related
disciplines (e.g., construction, installation, fabrication, execution,
completion, hook-up, etc.) in the Oil & Gas Industry, including 1 year
of experience in a supervisory role, including acting roles, or oversight
of service/vendor personnel.
Technical and Business
Skills
Experience with Oil and Gas companies, contractors, service
companies, or heavy construction companies.
Knowledge of design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate
safety criteria related to major fabrication, transport, installation,
brownfield execution, and hook-up, as applicable to the project scope.
Knowledge of offshore facilities and structures, onshore facilities, or
yard operations as applicable to a project scope.
Knowledge of execution methods and risks associated with sour gas
and LNG production facilities.
Experience working in large scale operating organizations in
Operations, Projects, subsurface, etc
